Erasmus Plus Program – Learn Italian in Italy
European Program: Erasmus Plus
Among the many partnerships and accreditations we have obtained over the years, Solemar Academy has recently got that of the European Erasmus Plus project for individual mobility. It is something of which we are extremely proud and which bears clear witness to our ongoing commitment to education and training.
The program in brief
Erasmus Plus is the new EU program valid for the period 2014-2020 and intended for the sectors of education, training, youth and sport. It was deisgned to replace and integrate previous programs such as the Lifelong Learning Programme, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig.
What it offers
Erasmus Plus promotes the modernization of education, training and youth, and aims to encourage the creation of partnerships between schools and enterprises in order to ensure the individual participants gain new skills and greater employability.
The KAI Action 1 for individual mobility specifically enables participation in learning activities (courses, internships) and continuing professional development in any of the countries that have joined the program.
What can be done at Solemar?
- Those who work in the world of training and education can follow one of our Italian language courses
- College students can carry out the training required by their degree program at our school
- Language teachers can attend one of our training courses, or do a teaching practice alongside our teachers.
How to participate
It is necessary to point out that the Erasmus Plus program does not guarantee funds to the individual participant, but to accredited institutions that are active in the fields of development, youth and sports. In this way the European Union funds projects for students, teachers, volunteers, trainers, etc.
Interested parties must therefore approach a school, a university, an institution or an organization that has the credentials to present projects and receive an Erasmus grant. Through these you can submit an application to the National Erasmus Plus Agency.
If you would like to apply for an Italian course, a refresher course or a training period at our school you need to indicate our Organisation ID in the application: E10164313.
