Accreditations
High-quality Italian courses.
We are constantly committed to improving our standards, obtaining prestigious accreditations and building solid collaborations with important institutions and language schools worldwide.
Since July 2018, Solemar Academy has been a member of the prestigious professional association ASILS (Associazione delle Scuole di Italiano L2).
ASILS brings together the most important Italian language schools in Italy. It includes around 50 schools, and admission requires compliance with strict quality, organisational, structural and transparency criteria.
We are also accredited by EDUITALIA, an organisation that brings together major Italian language schools and Universities for Foreigners in Italy.
In addition to guaranteeing high quality standards among its members, EDUITALIA supports institutions in their international academic and institutional promotion.
The University for Foreigners of Perugia has selected Solemar Academy as an official centre for administering CELI exams (Certificates of Italian Language).
At our Italian language school for foreigners, students can sit all exams of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Whether you wish to enrol at an Italian university or simply assess your language skills, Solemar Academy is the right Italian school for you.
Italian language teachers who wish to certify their teaching skills can also take the DILS-PG certification exam at our school.
We have also established agreements with the University of Palermo, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the University of Siena for curricular internships.
This allows students specialising in teaching Italian as a foreign language to complete part of their academic programme through an internship at our school.
Despite bureaucratic challenges, we have obtained official accreditation from the Region of Sicily, which has recognised the formal and substantive quality standards of our structure and educational offer.
Another accreditation we are particularly proud of is the Erasmus+ Programme.
Thanks to Key Action 1 (addressed to individuals from all sectors of education and training), students can apply to attend an Italian language course, take part in a traineeship or enrol in one of our training programmes at Solemar Academy.
To attend an Italian course, a training programme or an internship at our school, applicants must indicate the following Organisation ID in their application: E10164313.
For our German students, we also offer courses recognised for Bildungsurlaub (educational leave).
We are accredited in the federal states of Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Schleswig-Holstein, Thüringen, Niedersachsen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Brandenburg and Saarland.
Numerous Italian Cultural Institutes and Italian language schools worldwide promote our programmes and award scholarships offered by Solemar Academy to their students every year.
